YES - Alive and well at the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing Michigan. He is known as the King Vulture
(Sarcoramphus papa). Except for condors, the king vulture is the largest New World Vulture measuring in at a length of 32 inches and a 4 foot wing span. If you want to see one of these beauties live, you'll need to go to Brazil, Venezuela, etc. and hang out in dense tropical forests.
