You have a good eye. The bats make a grand lead-in to your subjects. It is well done, and the spectator with the hat on backwards is a main player in your photograph. Your photographs show real talent. I am glad you landed a freelance job; you are making your bones...
I'm old school; a Master Photographer and X photography instructor. When I critique, I tell it like it is. If I "favor" a photograph, I believe it to be as good or almost as good as I would have done. Your work is better than many on this stage. -

Really good shot, A++++ you have my vote. Great moment, good composition, you have the dimensions right. My only problem with this photo is the need of the contrast.

Love how there's a misty/dusty look to this photo. Love the focused look of the two boys and then it's funny to see the one who is looking your way.
