Found an amazing few places the last few days...

This was such a haunting location in the middle of absolutely nowhere.
I walked the track just up to those birch trees you see in the distance before the absolutely unbearable wind and cold set in. Just at the curve of the birches, the track just stopped and became field again. I wondered while standing there, what made them stop using this old track and when? How many people (in it's heyday) rolled over these lines?

I get nostalgic like that at locations like this. :)

You're editing skill are quite exquisite Ash. S'funny but I was photographing old lines today, but I took mine in a different direction, making the image dark, grimy and industrial, I would never have thought of such beauty, nor will I be posting them! This is too good!
