Petey is the "puppy mill" Rat Terrier pup who was dumped near our home. I wrote a story about him. When we rescued him, he was in very bad condition. Since then, he has thrived! He is fat and happy and has proven quite skillful at hopping high distances, such as here, when he landed in the antique suitcases from our old house in Louisiana. Not bad for a dog who, until two weeks ago, had never run or lived outside of a cage.
