that green is insane and really is that green. imagine an entire sky swirling, pulsing and glowing THAT color green (which i like to call, alien blood green). you can almost hear the glow. not to mention when it really gets going you can get pinks and whites mixed in there too. just depends on the angle of the sun to the earth when the explosions occur. it's fun for me to think that explosions on the sun with the destructive force of a nuclear bomb would end up producing this side affect for us. Well and of course - for any animal on our planet looking up from within a certain distance of the north pole who happens to have color rods in their eyes and the brain capacity to organize the information as we do - into the color green. :) if i stop to think about anything i have grown to think of as fact (visual, auditory, tactile or otherwise) especially in nature - it blows my mind when i take into account how finite our perspective is and limited to the confines of our biological makeup. it makes it rather easy for 'reality' to crumble. i guess it's been awhile since i thought about those ideas - it's fun to have the borealis take the place of an acid trip. :)

It's super essay. This is the icing on the cake. Wonderful silhouette of a modern sleeping giant.
