I went on a hike on spring break with a couple friends. I had no idea what I was in store for. Being in California I thought it would turn out to be a typical hike with a few shrubs here an there with no real satisfaction. I had to say I was absolutely amazed when we reached the top of the "mountain". I have never seen so much natural green in California at one time, especially in Simi Valley. Aside from that, I thought this panorama shot depicted the hike perfectly. Open expanse, no distractions, enjoying the earth we have been given.
