These red deer are captive, presumably bred for venison. This shot was taken near the shores of Loch Torridon in the Scottish Highlands. Red deer are a real problem in the highlands; with no natural predators to control their numbers they prevent the regeneration of the natural vegetation. They are still beautiful creatures though.
