History of its name went as far back as the Rajah Brooke's era (British), when his dairy cows grazed near the Astana (castle). Across the Sarawak river lies the hustle and bustle of Kuching's city centre. There are a lot of boats to cross the river, as an alternative to the city's two bridges.

Me and my brother rushed to Pangkalan Sapi right before sunset to take this photo. Despite the battery running really low, I managed to snap some of these shots before my camera went off. I like how the yellowish glow in the sky makes the green greener and warm.
