Filipina actress who co-starred with Jeffrey Hunter in No Man is an Island, a well made film that opted to stick to the facts rather than romantize or embellish the heroics. M's Perez had a chance for international renown, which she gave up to marry. Today, the movie still enjoys modest sales among WW II buffs interested in realistic renditions. M's Perez, now in her 60's has retained her looks. Portrait behind her is from that period.
