Yep that should read Posing and not Poison, even though this little guy is poisonous.
This was shot at the St. Louis Zoo, inside the reptile house. Hand-held shot into his aquarium, this meant slow shutter speeds, I was afraid I would get no good shots at all.
Well this frog decided to pose for me. He moved from the middle of the aquarium to the front glass, giving me a wonderful closeup shot. He would move from the hanging on the front glass to the spot you see pictured.
He did this for about 15 minutes, each time stopping and holding perfectly still, once I got a couple shots and move the camera away from my face, he would move and then freeze again.
He gave me a great story and memory to go with this series of images.
