Sax Man
This is Ralph, a jazz sax player who's been in and out of the hospital more times than he'd care to remember.
I ran into him a couple of years after I took this shot, but I noticed something was different about him. When I asked where his sax had gone, he simply replied:
"...it's easier to hold a clarinet when you're lying in a hospital bed..."
You've gotta love and admire the spirit of a true musican...
