Wherever you go, I'll follow
Half Moon Bay, CA (April 2008)
ETA: Just past 7PM, I was running late. Although it wasn't that clear out, and the skies weren't really dramatic, I really wanted to get some sunset shots.
But my 8 month old son would not let go of mommy and fought sleep. My husband, bless his heart, stepped up and told me to go and he'll take care of our little man.
So I grabbed my bag, drove the car 5 minutes to a parking lot behind our hotel and ran towards the beach.
When I got there, 'prime sunset' had already past - I thought to myself all was lost. And then I saw this couple.

I'm not sure if it was the title, or the distance between the people, or the colors, or maybe all of that together. But I got all teary eyed on this one. So touching emotionally. And beautiful.

like Peggy Sue, i was also moved by this scene and title. it reminds me of a song from Carole Kings's 1971 album "Tapestry". forgot the name, but it, like this refers to that quality of unconditional love, of which i am recipient and proponent!

Dennis! I love Carole King and particularly that album! I think you're referring to the song "Where you Lead" :)

The theme is great-and there are always beautiful scenes after the "prime" light. Just like your into the sun shot, it was nice that you did not call it quits and pursued the shot. We never know what we will find until we get on location-usually it is different then we thought, and often it can be better.
