Kashi & Krispy
Photographed here are my two TtV contraptions, Kashi & Krispy created by myself and my boyfriend. We created these using two of my twin lens antique cameras, two cereal boxes, silver duct tape, and black electrical tape. Kashi features a Carlton-Reflex and Krispy uses a Kodak Duaflex IV. Krispy creates brighter images than Kashi, but the Carlton's viewfinder is larger and we both like the images it creates.

1) i would just use black tape, but it was thin & we didnt have much of it, so i used silver duct tape to construct the thing & the black tape just to cover spots where light was leaking
2) the tabs are somewhat useful on Kashi, because the Carlton-Reflex is so big, so they can cover up any part of the top that is not covered by the digital camera -

I'm trying to get my head around this without being familiar with the cameras... do you poke your digital cam in the top and take pretty pics?

these are pretty cool. I made one of these with my Argus and some black posterboard but I have yet to try it out cause I don't have a long enough lens for my other camera. I'm excited though.

I think that TtV has become my new favorite form of photography (sorry Holga). I had my TtV thing made for a while but never got the chance to try it but yesterday I went out walking around town with it and I am in love with it. The photos are amazing.
