This is a shot from a series of photos I took for my very good friend Maria while I was home for Christmas. There are really no words to describe how wonderful she is. Body and soul, I don't think I've ever met a more beautiful person. She hopes to be a Peace Corps volunteer, UN delegate, Photo journalist, and filmmaker. She's going to save the world some day, and the fact that she's going to look like Marlene Dietrich while she's doing it just makes the planet she wants to save all the more worth saving.
