A very beaten path

This photograph was taken north of Lake Stevens WA as part of a non profit advertising campaign assignment. The theme was "What kind of legacy will you choose to leave?"
The photo was intended to invoke a feeling of responsibility to preserve the natural world we have, while there is still a chance. The photos in this series show dilapidated scenes with an element of beauty. This is intended to make the viewer feel that even though each scene is distressing, there is still a small glimmer of hope to be embraced.
