Leica M8

Leica M8

Leica wisely chose to omit an anti-alias filter when they went digital with their M8. Like Leaf, Mamiya, Hasselblad, and Phase One, digital medium format companies that represent the current epitome of digital image quality, dropping the consumer-minded anti-alias filter allows the Leica to record all the glorious resolution passed to it by the Leica, Zeiss, and Voigtlander lenses compatible with it.
