Peg With Elves and Daffodils

Peggy is my yard companion. Her stern overview guides my planting process. Even the yard elves are afraid, as they hide, shivering, in the daffodils. But not the daffodils that are freshly budding! They fear nothing, having been through another brutal, icy and snowy Oklahoma winter.

Don't get me wrong, I'll bet Peg would often smile if she could. But alas, her jaw seems perpetually down turned, as is the case with her breed, hiding her true expression...

This is the front porch area of our house, by some of my bulb gardens. At our house here in the country in Oklahoma City we also do animal rescue. We have a llttle land, and many animals here. Mary Margaret Murphy, or "Peggy" is my favorite, though, for she is deeply neurotic, as am I!

This is just too sweet. My Finnegan has a girlfriend Boston named Brooklyn. They are not a glum lot at all as you've mentioned. They are the life of the party. Peggy is a doll!
