The remains of a US Navy A-7 Corsair attach jet sits on the tarmac in a corner of NAS Key West. The aircraft, damaged in a landing accident beyond repair, was stripped of all usable parts, even its wings, and then abandoned to the forces of nature. At one point is was to be sunk off shore as an artificial reef but now lies once again forgotten
