The protest in Beirut lebanon March 29 2008. Was a protest against the Arab summit Meeting in Damascus Syria. lebanon sent no representative, because it is widely thought that Syria was behind the assassination of Rafik Hariri in 2006. The students protesting that day were also protesting Assad's opening speech.
