This is a rear view of an illam in North Kerala (in South India). Home of a priestly family with a great history. This perspective, with the bathing pond in the foreground, seemed more intersting than the front view. It's almost as though you could get to the rooftop and slide down into the water!

This photo is a treat. The house is a beauty, crying to be preserved. A fast disappearing relic from the past, soaked with History & tradition.
