Houston in the Clouds
A shot I took whilst living in one of the few Houston high rise condos with a good view. I was very fortuanate just to wake up and be presented with the view. I didn't have a tripod so I balanced myself against the balcony door frame and used a high iso.
I'm not native to Houston but it is my hometown right now, and downtown is something I see everyday. I think they excite me so much because they are after all the only real topography on the skyline!

Beautiful. With such sprawl, it's amazing that this presents such isolation of downtown.
