They stretch from coast to coast and country to country like awkward marching robots. They bring power and comfort to our lives,while leaving huge ugly holes in our landscapes. This is the telephone. This is the washing machine. This is television, the internet, the ringtone on your cell phone. These are the steel icons of our "wireless" society. And they continue marching.
