This man cannot use his legs and drags himself across the floor with the help of his hands. He refused to accept charity money from us and a few other fellow passengers who were waiting. Instead he would be happy to be bought a cup of chai from the platform stall. He explained that if he begs for money he gets robbed of whatever he gets since he cannot defend himself.
