Northern California is famous for its beautiful and "useful" Redwood. To transport the chopped material, rail system is developed, work and staging areas are established. Trains frequently departed to transport the raw material from the deep forest to the urban factories. It was a surprise to see such a man-made area in such a rural surrounding. Next time when we use wood furniture or product, let's think about how preciously that they were offered by our abundant Mother Nature.
