This was taken on 3-21-08. Tonight was the full moon. It was a perfect night and no wind. Hard to imagine the panhandle with no wind but it does happen.
I borrowed a tripod!!

Well to be honest, all week. But for this shot tonight not long really. It was just a little too low when we first got here but by the time I got all my equipment out, it was dead on!!

Must buy you a tripod:) A great photographer I used to know would plan the moon position, set his alarm, wake up and take the photo and go back to sleep:)
