Dry Lake - Lake Mead, NV
This photo is hot! Share it!
According to the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, there is a 50% chance that Lake Mead will be completely dry by the year 2021. This is directly related to the population increase in Las Vegas, NV which is projected to rise to over 3 million by the year 2020. Maybe they won't have anything to drink when they get there?

I guess I'll stick with Foxwoods and forget about going to Vegas. Great shot.

Outstanding and dramatic entry best captured in aerial view...It makes me want to take out my magnifying glass or blow the photo up and study it more carefully...my vote.

Travel can be both a blessing and a curse at times. Sometimes it's not fun to pack up and leave the family. It all feels like work when you do it enough.
