During a recent dinner my son, Ross, started holding his finger to his ear (like an anchorperson receiving a special bulletin through an earpiece) and whisper little bits of the current conversation. Then he would put his finger down and talk in a normal voice. After seeing him do this several times, my wife and I wondered where he had learned it. I asked, "Ross, who talks like that?"
He put his finger to his ear and whispered, "I do."
