Ride, Sally Lightfoot, Ride
This photo is hot! Share it!
This is a Sally Lightfoot crab (G. grapsus is the scientific name) I saw skittering about on my trip to the Galapagos. I loved the colors and this shot was the best one out of the many I took because there were no ripples on the film of water and my reflection didn't show up in this one.

This is awesome. I LOVE marine life and I adore crabs. The Galapagos is an incredible place--I hope to get there myself someday (I studied a lot of this stuff in college). GREAT shot--you got my vote!

My shot for this theme also came from the Galapagos. I was debating between the iguana and the Sally Lightfoot; I'm glad I decided not to compete with this! Nice picture.
