No Longer Full Of Hot Air.

Out with the new, in with the old!
In many homes, the clothes dryer is the #2 energy-guzzler, after the refrigerator. Typically, an average clothes dryer costs about $85 to operate each year...in addition to the huge amount of energy it needs to operate in a year's time.
Dry your clothes outdoors with natural sun and air! Clothes dried outside often seem fresher and cleaner than those that are machine dried. If you have a garden position your clothesline over it so the wet clothes will water the plants as they drip dry.

Awesome! I just started to hang my laundry last year, and I love it! Just one more reason to be outside, and they dry really fast. There is just something very zen about it...

I agree, Karen...very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely more so than standing in a poorly-lit laundry room listening to the noise while getting sweaty. Sunshine and a light breeze are the way to go. :)
Thanks so much for commenting...it's greatly appreciated! :) -

great shot! My mum always hang outdoor in spring, summer and fall as we love air and clean smell. It's sad to see none of my neighbours did it.

I agree! Here in the U.S., virtually NONE of my neighbors hang their laundry! Line drying is still the standard in most of the World...Americans need to get (back) with it! :)
