Love it or hate it, the only way to get around Chicago is by bus, L, or your own two feet.

Cars are unnecessary in the city, which is one reason I miss Chicago so much.

It amazes me how many cars are flooding Chicago's lack of parking spots, but whenever I'm in the city, the car stays in the first spot I can get, I grab my camera, and I ride the L.

It can take you to the heart of the city, or lead you out of it. You meet interesting, and not so interesting people, and you don't sit idle in the traffic below, wasting gas. Or the view.
