Brooklyn Bridge View

The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the world. It stretches the East River and connects downtown Brooklyn with downtown Manhattan. Also, it was the largest suspension bridge built in the world with steel cables.

The Brooklyn Bridge is a master piece to me because it was built in an era of the horse and buggy. It was totally man made. Building the bridge took 13 years, from 1873- to 1883.
