burnt out
This photo is hot! Share it!
Hundreds, thousands of hectares of forest are burnt each year in the peruvian AmazonÃa, it is said, for gaining land for agriculture and cattle grazing. The truth is, that not even half of that cleared land is used afterwards. The exposed soil is soon washed away by the rain and burned out by the sun and completly empoverished, so that nothing grows there anymore.
