The Crucifixion

The frustration of rhyme and logic escapes us all. We tend to forget that what is great is meaningless. Faith and dreams are two things that have no place here.
if your work is not selected just know that the emotions you experience has nothing to do about the quality of your work. It has to do with marketing.
Marketing is a beast that impales our dreams for the with the longevity of the editors and magazine.
With middle of the road selections and sub par comments chosen to represent.
You can now under stand why why a new view looks and say, "I can do better and join".
In time they too will be come wise ad the cycle will renew itself.
The loss of logic, content for what is cool on JPG Magazine is tragedy.
May the weight of this image convey to the editors of the loss behind the quality of images. and that there are better ways to increase the magazine circulation that what is being applied.
I am a friend and I hope we all continue the friendships of all.

Very appropriate. Unfortunately if the editors realised the weight and effect, then none of this would have happened in the first place!

Perfect Placement! I think that's the best I can say. This whole thing has left me often without words and sorrowful. I can't believe the 'weight' I feel in losing such a special personality and photographer.

You know a great photo comes from the heart.....not the pixels in your camera. Just wish the editors of JPG realized that. He didn't want it to get published...just wanted to share it with his many friends here on JPG.

I'm so sorry for such things are happening....Glenn, you're a great man. And I agree with Donna completely, one thing is if you submit a photo to a theme for hoping to be published, but if you only upload it because you want to show it to the people....well, i think in this case it shouldn't be removed.

I do think they (jpg) pick very compelling images for publication, whether or not there is politics, I can't say....but I can say this is quite a remarkable photograph. Well done.
