We celebrated New Years in Berlin this year... more than 1 million people were out partying and shooting firecrackers and drinking... it was lots of fun and very peaceful... by the end of the night, there was so much debri on the ground that it was impossible not to step on it. and by 7AM the next morning, the streets were squicky clean...but where does all that trash, generated by 1 million people, go!?!?!?
