I hate flying. It's not that I'm afraid of heights, in fact I have an incessant need to climb. It's the helpless feeling and the idea that someone else has a lot of control over me and my safety.

And so en route to a destination, I find ways and look for things to relax myself. A view like this helps.

This is the best plane window shot I have ever seen. Usually they all look more or less the same given the dimensions of the window. This one is original and dramatic and very well done.

Love this shot and I have the absolute same feeling about flying that you do. I too love heights but only if I'm in control. I find looking out the windows of planes helps me center myself.
