Sometimes the flocks of gulls that hang out down by the piers are kind of intimidating, especially if you're just a tourist and not used to them. Worried parents might have second thoughts about walking through a flock like this hovering between 2 and 30 feet, occasionally chasing each other with apparent aggressive intent.
