This is one of the first photos I took when my D70 was still brand, spanking that I actually liked. It sort of got me somewhere.

Technically it's terrible, taken wide open, fully zoomed with the none too sharp kit lens. It's unsharp to the extreme and it certainly has more grit and grub than intended.

But I still like it, after a few years, and it still gets me straight into that song by Sting.
