The story behind this photo is one that I'm glad I can share, because it really is a story of perseverance and growing up.
Someone I used to love very much gave this to me as a gift. As wonderful as his gift was (since I am a collector of stuffed bunnies), he continuously broke my heart.
I tried so hard to hold on, and be strong, but after two years I couldn't take it anymore.
I'm thankful and very gracious that I have found love again, but I know that I would not have been to truly appreciate the man I love now if it wasn't for the man I used to love.
Self-portrait.
Taken with my Canon AE-1 Program film camera.
I developed the film, made darkroom prints, and scanned the negative.
