The Scott Motel was closed by the owner because of a dispute with city officials. He walked in and told the employees, " We are closed as of this weekend." He left the business standing wide open. He never even locked the doors. It happened in the early '70's.

    There is a fantastic photo in B&W of paint on a wall. I have never forgotten that photo. It inspired me to see ordinary things and try to make them that little bit less ordinary. I can't remember the photographer and I don't have access to my books right now.
    My point is that your photo is very inspiring to me too. I have great admiration for this type of artistry. I love the texture and the tones of this photo. Shows great imagination and powers of observation. Thank you.
