DEATH TO DOLLIES 2:THE KNIVES
When my two daughters were 11 and 8 they decided to dispose of their small collection of dolls in a creative way. Dollies to Death, were ritualistically dismembered and covered with catchup amongst their hilarious laughter (They really never were much into dolls anyway), one into play-mobile little people and my older daughter was always raising and breeding small mammals, reptiles and amphibians(and NO, they never received the same fate as their dolls).
I photographed their creations, then manipulated them first on iPhoto, then sshhh, Photoshop. Some images just cry out (bad pun there) for treatment, for example the cement sidewalk detail becomes so much more interesting than left alone-plus the images may have been just to creepy if left untouched (as does a mutilated doll).
