1950's Buick Interior,Cow Canyon Trading Post
The sun-rotted, pack rat infested interior with its collapsing headliner still exudes the quality and elegance of the American autos of the 1950's. This was of course, the last complete decade of dominance and quality of american cars. Heavy chrome bumpers, beautiful dashboards, and the chrome front fender holes marked the 50's Buick's. Living in SW Colorado allows me to find hundreds of old vehicles like this in situ in small town yards and by the dozens in junkyards. In California, such sights are rarities, as "hot-rodders", then collectors have 'grabbed' what was before a commonplace find.
