Just as there is noise and air pollution, there is light pollution. It is the artist's gift and opportunity to mold what some may consider as pollution into beauty. This is a shot of the Hollywood Freeway, on a Friday night last December. You can almost make out the smoky haze in the off-white color of the headlamps. This part of the freeway, the Cahuenga Pass, cuts through a beautiful part of the Santa Monica mountains, next to the Hollywood Reservoir and the Hollywood Bowl.
