Peterborough Lift Locks
Part of the Trent Waterway System, providing a link to many lakes in Ontario. The locks compensate for the different water levels by lifting or lowering boats to continue on their travel. From Lake Ontario through part of the Kawarthas and up north west into the Muskoka's.
