Rare Bit

Not posted to offend.
Freshly caught, this rabbit knew very little of its fate at the hands (fangs) of the wolf.

If anyone is offended, please contact me and I would most certainly be prepared to remove it.

Please remember, this is real life every day for these wonderful animals.

I would only be offended if it were a house pet..and a small innocent creature that was posed for the sake of photography..or animal abuse....but this is Nature at it's finest. although my heart goes out to the rabbit..the Wolf is doing what he knows for survival. I think you captured an important moment in "his/her" existence. Great work!!!!!

No me gusta en absoluto, pero tienes razón, es real como la vida misma y no podemos negarla. El lobo es un animal noble y se le ha perseguido y masacrado casi hasta la extinción. Tienes . . .my vote

It would be offensive to take it down. Especially to any American who sees this picture, since the hunters' lobbies are furiously (and successfully) turning the wolf into a target for the first time in years. Hunters in Montana are salivating, and this magnificent animal again faces savage extermination at the hands of the world's most offensive inhabitant, man. What's unbelievable, in Montana anyway, is that taking the wolf off protection status is supported by livestock attacks over the last five years amounting to a few tens of thousands of dollars of damage. Why can't REI or North Face or another of the yuppie suppliers step in, pay up, and keep the ranchers quiet? Sorry for the rant, Gary; this is part of the wolf's reality, too. And it's a great shot, by the way!

He has his eyes on you! You probably weren't this close 'cause he would reacted to you when over a fresh kill. Either you are super brave or you have a good telephoto lens. LOL Super survival of nature photo.
