In Africa we call them Sun Spiders although it's not really a spider but a Solifugae. check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solifugae

Great shot ! Looks fearsome. How big is it? Couldn't find any measurements on Wikipedia. Looks like it could be a relative of our Eastern Mouse Spider.
