At the end of the day
Rolls of giant trucks once lined up when this mining facility was active. A lone Navajo woman walkd pass the trucks to begin the next part of her day. She will tend to her family. Life continues, from the balance of human impact on their environment. Now we wait to see the affect in time to come.
And elder asked. "Are we not like the fly on the window surface of mother earth as the fly is to us in our home".
In the When mother earth trembled photo essay.

Your image contrasts the big machine with people and nature very well. It would be great for the theme of human impact!

There's a lot of balance and justification in the symbols in this picture. A woman, destruction, mother earth, and snow. Feels like she knows or knew the right and wrong but this was the only way to survive there.

wow - this picture goes a long way to showing what it is we are all dealing with on this issue. It appears (and really is) much larger than all of us put together. Major kudos to you Glenn for going after this shot, seizing it, and more importantly showing this.
