This is Lydia, whom I met when stranded on Koh Samet. We arrived on New Years, busiest time of the year in Thailand so we were forced to sleep on the beach. She was bloody terrific. She wore a shreded tire in her hair and refused to go swimming.

Lydia is French, lives in London and teaches the kids of Jimmy Page and assorted other musicians, and she's also best friends with "The Darkness". It was awful to say goodbye 4 days later.
