My son and I spent New Year's Day exploring the Headlands of Marin County, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. We saw lots of red-tailed hawks flying around Hawk Hill, and caught the tail-end of a wedding dress photo shoot atop the World War II military ruins. But the highpoint of the ride was seeing Santa on horseback as we made our way back out towards Sausalito and home.
