Ricky from the 9th Ward

I met Ricky while I was visiting the lower 9th ward in New Orleans. He is a hurricane Katrina survivor who spent 10 days floating around the streets of the lower 9th ward in an ice chest. He lost his home, his construction business, and now just recently his FEMA trailer. Ricky is a Vietnam Veteran who is now homeless. This picture was taken December 2007.
