Sometimes you just gotta break the rule of thirds. I liked the reflection in the wet sand and the beach toys in the foreground on the right. Following the rule of thirds would have resulted in a cropped photo that would have lost these elements. But the boogie board is sitting right on the line with the lower third of the photo, and it makes a nice triangle with the angle of his body and his arm which tends to draw the eye to the subject. It works for me too.
